New games for various platforms
I was at Ghent again this weekend and while I was there I also bought a couple of new games. I got Tekken 3D Prime Edition for the Nintendo 3DS, Aliens: Infestation for the Nintendo DS and also Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike and Capcom vs. SNK for the Dreamcast.

The original Final Fantasy
Sometimes I come across a retro game that I'm willing to pay more for then usual. The original Final Fantasy on NES was one of those games and I got it at a forum I visit often. The game includes all maps and is in great shape! Very happy to have this one in the collection, I'll be playing it soon for sure.

Kirby's Epic Yarn
Kirby's Epic Yarn for the Wii was a game I always wanted to have but never wanted to pay full price for it. This afternoon was the first time I saw it for a good price and decided to pick it up!

Two packages with retro games
I received two packages with the mail today both containing retro games. One had Captain Skyhawk for the NES and the other one contained Vectorman and Rocket Knight Adventures for the Sega Mega Drive. Especially happy to finally have Rocket Knight Adventures, I'll be playing this one today! Still expecting another package with a game I'm really happy with to finally own it.

Final Fantasy XIII-2
I pre-ordered this game because I could have the Limited Collector's Edition for the price of the regular one so I couldn't resist. Picked it up today after work and I'm really looking forward to play this one, had a great time playing the original too.

A new fighter for the Dreamcast
I really like the Dreamcast, partly because of the great selection of fighting games available on it. Today I received Dead or Alive 2 through the mail for this console. It's a game I actually already have on the Xbox but I wanted this one for the Dreamcast too.

Two new games to play
Yesterday I was at Ghent again and I bought SoulCalibur for the Dreamcast in a gameshop I often visit. And today I got Alice: Madness Returns on Xbox 360 for my birthday from my brother! Very happy to have both of these games.

Gundam Wing for Super Famicom
Today I received a Super Famicom game that I was really anxious to finally own, it's Shin Kidou Senshi Gundam W: Endless Duel (otherwise known as Gundam Wing: Endless Duel). The game is in perfect condition and totally complete with box inlay, manual, plastic wrap around the cartridge and even the safety warranty! Very happy to finally own this game and in such great condition!

Prince of Persia for Xbox 360
I wanted to have a new Xbox 360 game this weekend so I could fire up that console once again. Went to a store in the city and bought Prince of Persia for a pretty good price. I also placed a pre-order for the Collector's Edition of Final Fantasy XIII-2, so I'll have that one in a couple of weeks.

One more Christmas gift
I received another Christmas gift today, again from my Secret Santa at the forum I'm visiting. He found this game a bit later and decided to send it to me too, very grateful for that! It's SNK vs. Capcom: SVC Chaos for PlayStation 2 this time!

First of all I want to wish you all a merry Christmas and a happy New Year! Hope you will have a good time during this holiday period.
Secondly I want to share what games I got for Christmas from my family. We celebrated it last evening and I got Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story and Solatorobo: Red the Hunter for Nintendo DS. Very glad I got these!

First Christmas gifts
At a retro gaming I visit we held a Secret Santa, we each received a wishlist from another member of the forum and a minimum budget to spend. I received my package this week and opened it up today, I'm very glad with what's inside of it! I got Streets of Rage II and Mega Games 2 for the Sega Mega Drive, Super Mario World for the Super Nintendo and the special edition of Silent Hill 2 for PlayStation 2. If my secret santa reads this, thanks again for the games!
